The first conference of its kind in Europe focusing specifically on all aspects of research on Sustainability Accounting and Sustainability Reporting.

The 1st European Sustainability Accounting & Reporting Conference (ESARC) is the first of its kind in Europe focusing specifically on all aspects of research on Sustainability Accounting and Sustainability Reporting.

The conference took place September 5-6th 2024 at AAU Innovate, Aalborg University, and was organised by Aalborg University Business School. It will rotate annually among European universities. The conference comprises parallel full paper with discussants, developmental paper sessions and a doctoral stream.

The conference was targeted to an international audience and was held in English.
