NORSI works to enhance and strengthen the Nordic innovation and entrepreneurship research education and community by providing PhD courses, strengthen Nordic connections in the community and strengthen the international orientation among PhD students.
Professor at Aalborg University Business School (AAUBS) Christian R. Østergaard sees great potential in the membership.
- It is important for Aalborg University Business School to join network in order to provide good opportunities and easy access for our PhD students to international PhD courses of a high quality, says Christian R. Østergaard.
Only Danish university in the network
Aalborg University is the first university to join the network, and Head of the PhD programme at AAUBS Jens Holmgren also considers it as a an important step.
- We have participated in the establishment of the NORSI since 2019 and we are happy to participate as the only Danish university in the network. We think that it is a great opportunity for our PhD students and it is also an excellent opportunity for our research staff to contribute to courses together with researchers from other business schools in the Nordic countries. We hope to enhance the quality of our PhD training as well as help our PhD students to build networks with PhD students and researchers from the participating universities.
- The NORSI network is funded by a large grant from the Norwegian Research Council and by the member institutions.
