LNETN answers the need in our society for new theories, approaches and methods to learn how best to interpret and respond to newness and its legitimation. The project commits to and ensures a positive social impact.
The aim of the LNETN project is to train 15 early stage researchers (ESR) in the legitimation of newness and theory building through 15 individual research projects, all focusing on interpreting and understanding new complex phenomena within social sciences and economics, with applications in science, engineering, technology, health and humanities.
When the project is finalized, the ESRs will have gained unique transferable skills, being able inter alia to innovate and contribute to European economic, social, political, and technological growth. This skillset will increase ESRs’ employability in and outside academia.
The LNETN ESRs have diverse educational and business backgrounds in international management; international, food marketing; public policy, cooperation and development; biology, genetics and evolution; power, computer engineering; entrepreneurship, innovation technology; law, public administration; psychology; economics and business administration; literature and theology; industrial and financial management.
