Report for NOVI and NorCOM, January 2002 Master Thesis "Cluster
analysis of the ICT sector in Northern Jutland" The purpose of the thesis was to examine whether the ICT sector in Northern Jutland was a cluster. To answer this question it was necessary to answer three additional questions: Make a short survey over the extensive and sometimes blurred theory of clusters, find a proper method of analysing clusters and make a cluster analysis of other possible clusters in Northern Jutland if the ICT sector failed to constitute as one. The thesis also included an description and analysis of the ICT sector in Denmark and Northern Jutland.
