Björn Johnson
Björn Johnson has a Ma in economics in 1968 and a fil.lic. (Ph.D.) in 1971 from the
University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is an associate professor and reader in
economics and connected to the economic studies programme. His earlier research
dealt with regional aspects of consumer behaviour, planned economies, comparative
economic systems and comparative analysis of contemporary strategies in economic
policy. Current research is in the field of institutional economics and focuses on the
relations between technical and institutional change.
