- Andersen has transformed Marco Valente's web pages into a new website for the Laboratory of Simulation Development. The website includes manuals, evolutionary models and downloads - including the new version Lsd 3.0b1 (download MS Windows version). The website is developed by means of the same tools for website development as the site on Informatics and Network Economics.
- 20 Apr 2000
- Andersen has been the main developer of a new and complex website on Informatics and Network Economics, including a new master education. The website applies Open Source Software tools like the Apache server with PHP scripting and the MySQL database server, see pages on website development tools. Later these tools will be used for a major update of the present website.

microeconomics course autumn 1998.
- 2 Sep 1998
- There is now week plans for the microeconomics course [in Danish].
- 18 June 1998
- Web pages [in Danish] has been created for the microeconomics course autumn 1998.

- 20 March 1998
- The pages with microeconomic concepts - translating between Danish and English - has been changed to give credits to Bertha Toft and Eva Roth who have developed the glossary. The lists will later be changed. At present they reflect an old and very preliminary list.
- 16 March 1998
- The page on the PhD/MA course on evolutionary simulation has been corrected. The course will take place in the autumn of 1998.
- 16 March 1998
- The search engine for Andersen's web sites has been reintroduced and emphasised.
- March 1998
- A new round of updating begins.
- June-August 1997
- A major redesign of the web site is carried out. Both the Andersen Site and the Evolutionary Economics Site was been implemented and debugged. Include files are used to enhance layout consistency. Search facilities have been implemented - but not made public.
- January-May 1997
- The spring term was planned as a period for web site reconstruction, but nothing happens. The redesign presupposes quite concentrated work.
- August-September 1996
- Instead of htlm-sation of reports the emphasis is put on making available working papers as PDF and PS files both at the ANDERSEN and the EVOLUTIONARY ECONOMICS web sites. Even programs (in Maple format, etc.) are made available. With respect to the autumn term course in intermediate microeconomics much lest work is spent compared to the autumn of 1995. Much of the complexity of the site for the 1995 course is removed, so the site looks more like the well-known course sites from e.g. the US.
- February-July 1996
- Within the DRUID a project of programming and simulation of evolutionary processes is created. This gives a more organisational approach to an EVOLUTIONARY ECONOMICS web site. But the work concerning the web site does not mix well with the research activities. As a result the major achievements with respect to the web site are html-isation of reports, etc.
- September-October 1995
- An EVOLUTIONARY ECONOMICS website designed for both theoretical and empirically oriented economics of evolution and technical change is designed. But the project runs rapidly into poblems. It becomes obvious that complex sites cannot be maintained without tools for web site management and support from the computer unit. But the main problem is that too much work is required from the "docmaster".
- July-September 1995
- In relation to a course in intermediate microeconomics a large and complex set of pages is created. But there is no ambition of creating a MICROECONOMICS web site. The pages (in Danish) of the course is rather used experimentally in relation to web design.
- May 1995
- An attempt is made to move from an ANDERSEN web site towards an EVOLUTIONARYECONOMICS web site (e.g. of relevance for a European PhD programme - ETIC). Materials from Andersen's book on Evolutionary Economics is not only html-isised, but hyperlinks and imagemaps are used for linking the different levels of the exposition (text, formulas, algorithms and flowcharts). It shows up that the "bread and butter" issues of downloading, etc. are not solved effectively. It is easier to design and manage simpler and organisationally oriented web sites of IKE and DRUID.
- February/March 1995
- The ANDERSEN web site is created starting with a - too large - home page. The ambition is to create a complex system of academic pages to support research and teaching within evolutionary economics in the broad sense. The site is thought as being complementary to the simpler "bread and butter" web sites of IKE (Aalborg University's Group of Innovation Studies) and DRUID (Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics).
